Our unique blend includes ferrous sulphate, dichlorphen, and iron to kill moss dead. When we apply moss killer after thatching or aerating, a more complete moss kill occurs. By applying moss killer after dethatching your lawn the existing moss and thatch is now thin enough to allow the moss killer to better kill off any remaining moss, and the rhizoids that help to anchor them in your lawn.
